HORSEBACK RIDING LESSONS

Mounted instruction and horsemanship lessons are available for beginners through advanced riders in a variety of disciplines including Classical Dressage, Jumping and Working Equitation. 

Bree's approach is to challenge riders without overwhelming them. She believes Dressage is the foundation for success in all disciplines and has riders involved in many different equestrian sports.  

Her philosophy is that before you can influence the way a horse is going, you must first be able to follow the motion he offers.  She incorporates a lot of theoretical education into her lessons and wants her riders to truly understand the "how and why" behind the training process.  She also aspires to create critically-thinking riders; not just direction followers, which builds the confidence and understanding they need to be their own problem solvers when riding on their own.  

Bree is also a strong believer in cross-training, and encourages students to get their horses out of the arena and onto trails, fields, woods, etc., to create a more well-rounded and confident pair. 

Lessons are offered locally on or off-site. School horses available.

HORSE TRAINING

While all training is Dressage based, Bree also has ten years experience in Hunter/Jumpers and has been studying Natural Horsemanship since she was a child.  She firmly believes in combined training, which is what has drawn her passion towards Working Equitation (please see more information about this emerging new sport on the "Working Equitation" tab!)

Bree believes that each horse has a calling and wants to help each one find the niche he will excel in! She believes most horses benefit from time out of the arena on the trail, even if its a serious show athlete. 

HORSE SHOW COACHING

Bree is available for coaching both locally and beyond. 

She attends several Dressage, Jumping, and Working Equitation shows each season.

CLINICS
