Dante is the real owner of Inferno Farm. Bree has been lucky enough to own this generous hearted horse for over 20 years. She owes her entire professional career to this horse who she picked up from an auction truck so many years ago. He is truly the Cinderella story.
For lessons Dante is a patient teacher, rising to whatever level the rider asks him to. He will test you to "push the right buttons" and gives appropriate feedback when you do. Truly a schoolmaster, more like a professor. He's patient for the beginners and has all the training for the advanced movements. He was Bree's FEI dressage horse for several years, he retired from dressage into working equitation in 2019. Also prior to being a dressage horse, he and Bree spent extensive time in the show jumping ring. Although his real jumping days are over, he does enjoy a little crossrail or log from time to time.
Luna is a senior horse who is extra patient with the beginners and the kids. She's not super small but she has the quietest brain around. Her idea of a great time is filled with snuggles and snacks. She has been a part of the BRS team since November of 2021. A quiet and patient teacher who will wait for you to "figure it out" a bit, she is our go-to for first timers.
Sammy is new to the BRS team as of March 2022! He was previously used as a foxhunting horse for kids. He is quiet on the trails, loves attention, but so far is a little bit suspicious of being caught!
So far the general consensus on Sammy is that he is fun to ride, sensitive to the aids but not overly reactive. He has a great natural balance, steady rhythm, and seems to be in tune to his rider and really seems to aim to please.
I never imagined myself being a breeder but, then I ended up with Evita. She's an amazing mom, but if she has a foal at her side, we ask that students and visitors respect her space.
Anakin was born in 2019 and will begin riding in 2022, and will begin a few select lessons in 2023.
Callisto will be started in 2023 and is hopefully set up to be Bree's next performance horse!
Both of the boys (and Mama) will be begging for attention and treats, so bring extra for them!
